Who we are

The
Lab.

We believe the future of economic growth lies in the untapped potential of our rural areas.

Vuligqondo Living Lab (VLLab) is a grassroots innovation hub in Maphotla Village, Dr JS Moroka Local Municipality. We turn rural Mpumalanga into a working ecosystem of creativity, technology and sustainable entrepreneurship, with resources and mentorship on our own doorstep.

As one of 13 living labs, and home of the Vuligqondo Innovation Networking Platform (VINP), we connect local ideas to the partners who can take them from concept to market.

InnovatePrototype and test ideas with real users, in the community they serve.
EmpowerDigital and business skills for youth, women and people living with disabilities.
